How is the rating process going?

Acquaintance and consultation

In the first stage, we conduct a detailed consultation with the client to understand his needs, long-term goals and specifics of the activity. After agreeing on the terms, we sign the contract and start work.

Data collection and analysis

Analysis and evaluation of data, facts, other information received both from the rating subject and from other sources. The duration of this stage of rating activity depends on the amount of information received and the quality of its preparation. If necessary, CIRA analysts may offer to hold another meeting with the client to clarify internal information.

Determination of rating

Upon completion of the collection and analysis of the information, the CIRA Rating Committee forms a reasoned opinion and makes a decision to assign a specific rating. The Committee shall take into account financial indicators, market conditions, reputational and operational risks to ensure the most reliable assessment of the entity.

Familiarize the client with the results

The customer is provided for familiarization with the result of a study conducted by CIRA rating analysts. In the event of disagreement with the rating received, the rating entity has the right to provide CIRA with additional information that may affect the category of the assigned pre-rating. In this case, the CIRA Rating Committee reviews the previously assigned rating within five working days.

Publish and update ratings

The rating subject gives written consent to the publication of the established rating. If such consent is not obtained, the rating is considered private and is not published on the CIRA website. The updated ratings take place on a quarterly basis.
